Graphic Novel Genre Project This month (and next) is about graphic novels - a genre that has really taken off! A graphic novel is a single story told through the form of words and pictures using the conventions of a comic book - but is not a comic book. Conventions means the way things are generally done…in this case, conventions means speech and thought bubbles, rectangles for brief narratives, and, of course, colorful pictures!)
