November/December Genre: GRAPHIC NOVEL

Graphic Novel Genre Project

This month (and next) is about graphic novels - a genre that has really taken off!  A graphic novel is a single story told through the form of words and pictures using the conventions of a comic book - but is not a comic book.

Conventions means the way things are generally done…in this case, conventions means speech and thought bubbles, rectangles for brief narratives, and, of course, colorful pictures!)

This genre has exploded in recent years, and there are now graphic novels for all kinds of tastes.  Enjoy...I can’t wait to see what you find!!!
